    Brigit Lannister

    Post by Brigit on Thu Nov 17, 2011 6:23 am

    Born the oldest daughter to Lord and Lady Frey of the Twins near Riverrun. She was four years old when Anya was born, and seven when Thierry was born, Mother died only a short time after Thierry was born. Brigit has little memories of her mother but not many. She grew up with mostly her aunt and the family septa looking after the children. When Thierry was born and their Lord Father was sure he would live, he shipped Anya to the Sept where she was to learn to be a Septa.

    As a mere girl Lord Frey contracted with Lord Lannister that his oldest son Aidan should wed with her. Securing a bethrothal to Aidan Lannister for Brigit, he sent her to Lannisport to be a ward of the Lannister family until they wed when she was a woman grown. It was a political move on the part of Lord Frey to tie his house and holdings to the Lannister House and holdings, it worked out well for Lord Frey, and better even for Brigit.

    Lord Frey was always Brigit's hero. When mother died, we all grieved and became closer still from the grief of it. Being the oldest Brigit sometimes thinks he is harder on her than her sister and brother but she inherited his strength and his passion for life. She loves and is devoted to her family no matter what.

    When her 20th name day came it was time and she was escorted to the sept where the heir to the Lannister fortune awaited her at the altar. Moving them newly married to King's Landing, her new husband was swiftly named Hand of the King. Upon the old king dying, the infant Jaeron Targaryen , sick with the greyscales inherited the Iron Throne, with Aidan being his heir and Lord Protector.

    Shortly after their move Brigit gave birth to a heathly baby boy, Tristan Lannister.

    <diary entry>
    My son is now five, and a handsome, strong, growing boy. I am so proud of him. Since the coronation time has gone by so fast.
    The Maesters both said I was with a child, but after being so upset with some things and people, I lost it. That makes me very sad, the king says we will try again. He did not seem as upset as I was.

    Little Nova Lannister has come to ward with us from Casterly Rock, she's four this year. She has a new little orphaned smallfolk friend whose five. We aren't sure where she came from she just appeared in my solar one morning. How she got past the guards I'll never know.

    Seems people pass the guards rather easily these days, might have to look into that. War still looms with the north, how I do wish these things would find there way to being settled.
    <end of entry>

    Journal Entry

    Post by Brigit on Tue Jan 10, 2012 1:35 am

    It was a four day ride up and I was there less than a day and the king made me come home the entire way I had to listen to those two King's guards blabber at me. I must have answered a thousand time about why did I leave King's Landing in disguise and ride so many leages alone to see my husband? I would do it again too! I'm not sorry. I had to see him, I had to be with him... We had to try again. After losing the last baby I realized how much I miss having a baby in my arms, ohhh I hope it worked! With everyone and their cousins knowing I rode all the way to the neck and back, there will be no question as to whose child this is, even though Aedan is at war.

    Aeron and Daena come home today. It was good to see them and even better to see Nova's happy face at her parents return. Soon as Aeron found out that Aedan had gone to war he was off again, took his men and followed them. I almost wished I had suggested he stay in King's Landing with his host as we seem to be left here will little in the way of fortitude. There was no stopping him. At least we have Daena and I know she will be such a big help to me with the children and at court. I thank the seven they are back.
